About Our Programs
To properly engage with the many types of education available in our diverse community, the Arts & Sciences Center offers a variety of programs. Consider which is the most appropriate for your vision and refer to its specific requirements to get an idea for how your Program may come to life.
Start Something New
Our Program Catalog illustrates how individuals, businesses, and organizations may collaborate with the Arts & Sciences Center to achieve mutual goals. Even if you've just got an idea you'd like to explore, resources are available to help you take it to a point of funding, implementation, and tangible action. See which of our Programs seems like the best fit for you, and propose your Program using one of the forms linked below. We’re excited to see what can be done together!
-
Courses
Courses (classes, series) are progressive and meet on a regular basis to deeply explore a specific subject or develop a specialized skill. Facilitating your own course requires a high level of preparation and commitment.
-
Festivals
Festivals (fairs, carnivals) are open to the general public and offer multiple points of interest (these may include demonstrations, entertainment, activities, food, vendors, etc.). These multifaceted and larger-scale events can range from several hours to several days depending on the need.
-
Events
Events (lectures, seminars, symposiums, workshops) are focused one-time offerings. If leading a course feels overwhelming to you, an event may be a more comfortable option.
-
Clubs
Clubs are offered to Pahoa youth after school hours and during school intersessions. ASC organizes a schedule and arranges enrollment, so this is a great way to facilitate a youth program if youʻre not wanting to launch your own separate program.
-
Fiscal Sponsorship
Fiscal Sponsorships are available for our partners needing a 501(c)3 to receive funding through.
-
Partnerships
Partnerships are a way for individuals, organizations, or local businesses to work with ASC in other creative ways to deliver on our goals and mission.
